Mega Bloks vs DSLR

So many warehouse sale.. so little money..

Last weekend I have been to a Kid’s Craze (not one of my kid’s stunt or crazy episode, but a kid’s toy warehouse sale).. they should have named it mom’s craze or dad’s craze or parents wallet annihilation.

I was in total awe when I saw how much a mega bloks toy was marked down.. a whopping 50%! (this mega fire truck is not an exception on the marked down toys)

I am so obsessed with this toys, why? well one, it has been a frustration for me when I was a kid (read: the toys are for ME). Mega bloks is a building blocks type of toys, it is very durable and very colorful. I can go on and on with the countless benefits of this toy( and I will bore you with some).
It develops the kid’s imagination and creativity.
It is not harmful and it can last really long.
The best thing about this toy is it does need batteries! I really hate toy operated batteries( so don’t give any to my kids if you have any plans hehe).

My kids always have a good time playing with these. They would spend hours building a castle and playing with it. Then pretend they are kingkongs smashing the castles(kids do have the wildest imagination). When I was short in budget and still can’t buy action figures for them, they would just build a robot with their blocks (but soon enough they discovered I was only saving up for a pair of shoes, bye bye gladiators, hello optimus prime). They are not allowed to buy toy, and they never bother to throw some tantrums to have one.. why? they were busy making up a gun of their own, one that is even longer than m16 or whatever M type of gun there is.

And so how can I resist the charm of a 50% off mega bloks?
Please tell me to stop panic buying all those toys!
I am tempted to withdraw my savings in my paypal (from my online activities) so that I could buy all of them.. waaah!! but no! that is for my dream camera!

DON’T.GIVE.IN.TO.TEMPTATION.

But I would not keep this craze to myself.. I will share the joy (to tempt you and torture you) of the kid’s craze to mommies (and daddies) out there…

The warehouse is located in Quezon City, near Eastwood (if you are familiar with Monarch, just make a turn there and some meters from C5, on your right side, you can see a warehouse with green gate.. ) They are open on Fridays and Saturdays only. I am not sure though if they are accepting cards now (last year they do.. see? I am a regular there). The toys ranges from 50 PhP to 20K Php. The toy brands were Mega Bloks, Hot Wheels, Chicco, FisherPrice, and a lot more. ANd oh they have a lot of Barbie items!

Come on guys, I know you want that Barbie house too.. or that Hot wheels race track for YOU I mean YOur kids…
